As a result of the highest level of material cleanliness and advanced hardening techniques, we can achieve this goal. The direct benefit, to our customers, is superior surface quality of rolled products. Furthermore, the reliability and life of the roll is significantly improved by thermal refining and tempering to enhance the roll’s mechanical strength.

After centering and rough machining, the entire roll blank can be thermally refined to meet neck hardness and strength requirements. This step also refines the body microstructures to set a basis for final body hardening.
